The annual Art Show organised to raise funds for the VIDA Casa de Apoio da Granja Viana includes about 200 visual arts works by 90 artists from all over Brazil. Including many different forms of artistic expression, including painting, print making, photography, sculpture, ceramics and installations, the exhibition offers the public a chance to see a wide variety of techniques and styles which cover the whole spectrum of Brazilian art.
The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, collages, sculptures, ceramics, photographs and installations of all shapes and sizes, all of which are offered for sale directly by the artists. A percentage of the sale price is destined for the VIDA Casa de Apoio. Over almost 40 years, the institution’s volunteers and paid professionals have established a series of social programmes for children and adolescents from disadvantaged backgrounds.
