The Library

In the Library and Information Centre, a joint venture between the Cultura Inglesa and The British Council, you will find a wide range of British literature, from the traditional classics to contemporary successes, including material not yet published in Brazil.

There are more than 8,000 titles in this collection, all in English, as well as daily editions of The Times, available on the day of issue, and magazines from the UK, like BBC History, New Scientist, and The Economist, as well as the supplements to The Sunday Times, among others.

There is a 6-channel audio system with a varied musical programme, and the possibility of watching and listening to the BBC (radio and TV).

Joining the library and borrowing books and magazines is easy. Just bring proof of residence, original identification document or driving licence with a photo or passport, and pay a symbolic annual fee, which is free for the over 60s. Come and join and take advantage of all these benefits and also get a 50% discount on all events organised by the Cultura Inglesa São Paulo.
